HAART Aortic Valve Repair Technologies
BioStable’s HAART Aortic Valve Repair Technologies have been developed to simplify and standardize valve repair for aortic valve insufficiency. Originating out of extensive studies of the complex anatomy of the aortic valve and root, the HAART Aortic Valve Repair Technologies include annuloplasty devices, instrumentation, and repeatable implantation procedures. BioStable’s flagship products, the HAART 300 and HAART 200 Aortic Annuloplasty Devices, are designed to:
Resize the aortic valve annulus to reduce dilatation,
Reshape the aortic valve to restore more normal, three-dimensional coaptation geometry,
Stabilize the aortic valve to reduce the risk of recurrent annular dilatation.
Device sizing is determined from measurements of the leaflet anatomy of each individual patient. Implantation is accomplished through simple suturing techniques that position the device under the annulus and away from the valve leaflets. Once implanted the HAART Aortic Annuloplasty Device serves as a framework to guide leaflet repair techniques to re-establish valve competence. During Root Restoration surgery for the repair of aortic root aneurism, the HAART Aortic Annuloplasty Device provides ridged three-dimensional annuloplasty without requiring deep resection of the aortic root.

HAART 200 Aortic Annuloplasty Device
Designed specifically for use during the repair of bicuspid aortic valves.
