Community of Learning

Education & peer-to-peer sharing of best practices are key factors necessary for advancing aortic valve repair. Biostable’s mission is to simplify and standardize aortic valve repair through our HAART Aortic Valve Repair Technologies. As part of that mission, BioStable is making significant investments in education & training for the HAART Community and creating new forums for shared learning. In order for aortic valve repair to be a more widely available treatment option for patients, we need to continue to share knowledge and experiences. I am pleased to announce two important steps BioStable has made to advance these goals.

  1. HAART Academy Webinar SeriesWeekly webinar series will demonstrate the broad utility of the HAART System through the sharing of cases, discussion of best practices and presentation of clinical technique pearls. With the unfortunate impacts of COVID-19, schedules are rapidly changing and, in some situations, providing additional opportunities for learning. For those surgeons who are interested in learning how the HAART Devices could potentially benefit their patients, the events offer the opportunity to hear and learn from the experiences of your peers. We also strongly encourage all trained surgeons to register and participate in the discussions.

  2. Expanding the BioStable Team – The BioStable team with two key additions to help advance our educational resources and support. Our new VP of Physician Education, Chris Olig, brings 20 years of experience in the cardiothroasic surgery market with a focus on training and development of new procedures. Second, Scott Emami, our new VP of Marketing and is tasked with growing the HAART Community and sharing the benefits AV repair using the HAART devices with surgeons, cardiologist, and patient alike.

Do you have other suggestions for training and education programs that you would like to see or needs that we could support you with? Please reach out to Chris or Scott to let them know how they can support you.
